In Honor Of...: How The Blaxploitation Era Inspired Our Latest Collection

One of my favorite genres of movies is Blaxploitation. Over the top and often poorly produced, the movies created as much controversy as they did revenue. 

They also created a new crop of Black directors, writers and actors. Some of the best and most popular films featured strong, Black-women leads.
